This song is quite complicated because it uses many technical elements in addition to being high.
Don't hesitate to lower the pitch of the song using our Player when you start working on it.
Once you have completely mastered it, you can gradually increase the height.
This allows you to focus on technical vocal elements by removing the difficulty of pitch at the start of your learning.
The first verse is quite soft and brisk. The song begins before everyone else, “anacrusis“. Sing it with determination and a “strong woman” side
the second verse is at the level of intention like the first but from the third sentence it goes up! From “All I really know…” to “never die” you will have to support and project your chest/mixed voice well!
The first chorus mixes head voice and chest/mixed voice unlike the other two choruses. Pay attention to the strong/soft nuances to give life to your singing.
For all the choruses we will have on the phrase “…band won't play-y” a head voice dropout of the Y “play-Y”
The second chorus is totally chest/mixed. Pay attention to the last sentence which goes on to the bridge!
The third chorus is more “free-style” and contains a lot of technical phrases.
Support and project well, breaking down each sentence and the movement of notes on:
– The first sentence
– The second sentence
– Especially the last sentence: “this way…wo-o…yeah”
The first sentence of the bridge must be extremely sustained. Use the “W” on the “Wow-yeah” to find the note.
The sentence that follows “I'dont wanna be…” gradually decreases in intensity until its end.
The “Hoh” are totally and only in head voice. Help yourself with the “h” on the “Hoo” attack.
This is the part that ends the song. Lots of head vocals, softness and breath in the voice.
Pay attention to the stop on “uu-us….this way”, there are 3 beats between them.
The little vocals at the end can be more free and improvised if you wish.
In this guitar version we use a capo in fret 5 to simplify the chords.
You will still have an F barre in this song. If it is too complicated, use the simplified version of the FA agreement that you will find on Yooplay.
The chords are played in rounds (4 beats) or in tunes (2 beats) except at the ends of the choruses and the beginning of the Outro:
1 quarter note – 2 eighth notes – 1 half note on C – D – Em and C – D – G.
Everything is played in down strokes.

This song by Lady Gaga has five chords, two of which are barred: the FA and especially the A#, which is not easy to ring because it is at the start of the round.
On verse 1 and chorus 1 we will only play in downward strokes, alternating bass and treble chords.
This allows us to imitate the left-hand and right-hand swing of the piano.
There are several different rhythms in this song. Learn them separately while respecting the rhythmic hand movements.
Always keep in mind that, unless there is a counterexample, you must always have LOW HIGH LOW HIGH in 1 beat if you play 4 sixteenth notes.
Sixteenth note rhythms are based on this principle!
From verse 2 the guitar rhythm comes into play!
As it repeats, the “down” and “up” movement indications are indicated on the first measure and apply to all others.
The choruses have four different rhythms. pay close attention to the placement on F – G – Am and on F – G – C.
Watch out for the A# appearing from the bridge. This whole part of the bridge has its own rhythm! The bridge must be strong so don't hesitate to support your rhythm guitar.
On the Outro we find the setup but simpler (black – layers – white). This part is more refined and must be interpreted very gently, so gently with your pick! If the Guitar part is mastered and you like Piano, don't hesitate to take a look and listen to the lesson Always remember us this way Piano !
