40-second breathing exercise: Recommendations

Start by breathing in slowly through your nose or mouth and feeling your lungs fill and your diaphragm move. Then, exhale while sticking your teeth to the front of your teeth and regulate your airflow. Make sure the sound remains stable and straight, without fluctuations in volume or quantity. Save your voice and don't hesitate to give a slight smile to help make the sound sharper and less somber.

This exercise optimizes the work of the abdominal muscles by pushing air through a very small opening, and you should feel the work of abdominal breathing. If you do it correctly, the sound should sound more like “ssssssssssssssssss”.
