You will need to master different drum techniques to play the original version of this this song.
The main pattern of the song is relatively simple. However, a bass drum is played offbeat between the “and” of the second beat and the third beat. This will take some practice if you're new to drumming. I advise you to work on the course on offbeats on the bass drum. A set of exercises will allow you to familiarize yourself with this technique.
The loneliest's drum arrangement features several varied breaks. Some come from the frieze 4 sixteenth notes. I refer you to the course on binary breaks on the drums in order to work on the different rhythmic figures resulting from this rudiment. Other breaks are played in sextuplets which adds punch and momentum to the track.
The loneliest is a slow song. It is played at 65 bpm. The main difficulty is not to speed up and to be precise. If you're too fast, you'll lose the groove of the song. Work well on the different sections of the song (pattern and breaks) with a metronome in order to work on your precision and timing across the entire track.

In this version created for beginners, the main pattern has been simplified. The bass drum backbeat has been removed. So, you will have to play a simple basic rhythm that you can work on thanks to the “bass drum variations” course.
The sextuplets have been replaced by breaks in 4 sixteenth notes. You can work on frisé in the “frisé 4 sixteenth notes” drumming course.
